🔹Vietnam Cuts Tariffs on U.S. Goods and Approves Starlink to Mitigate Trade Surplus Concerns

Vietnam is set to reduce tariffs on various U.S. products, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) and automobiles, as part of efforts to address its significant trade surplus with the U.S., which exceeded $123 billion last year. The new tariff rates will lower LNG tariffs from 5% to 2%, automobile tariffs from 45-64% to 32%, and ethanol tariffs from 10% to 5%. Additionally, Vietnam has approved the trial launch of SpaceX's Starlink internet service, a move seen as a strategy to mitigate potential U.S. tariffs.
