🔹 Fresh Logistics "VIP Channel" Boosts Litchi Exports
Focusing on the "high timeliness and high freshness" characteristics of litchi transportation, Shenzhen Airport launched a full-process customs clearance optimization plan to ensure rapid cargo flow:

  • Exclusive green channel: Priority cargo acceptance windows, exclusive security checkpoints, and fast-track counters are set up to achieve "immediate inspection upon arrival" for litchi goods, avoiding queuing for regular goods. For example, on June 19, Shenzhen Airport Shenchang Freight Company compressed the entire process from arrival to loading for litchi to 2 hours through pre-loading management, significantly improving operational efficiency.
  • Cargo space reservation and pre-loading management: A professional support team is formed to lock in flight cargo space in advance and optimize the loading plan, reducing time loss in the loading process. For example, for flights to Singapore, Shenzhen Airport collaborates with SF Airlines to ensure rapid cargo loading and connection with international flight schedules through innovative modes such as full pallet transfer.
  • Multi-department collaboration to accelerate customs clearance: Shenzhen Customs shortens customs clearance time through convenient measures such as advance declaration, document pre-review, and 7×24-hour appointment customs clearance. For example, on June 19, a batch of fresh cherries from Uzbekistan completed customs clearance and inspection in only 1 hour after landing through "advance declaration" and real-time document review, and litchi exports also benefit from similar process optimizations.

🔹 Guangzhou's First China-Europe Railway Express E-commerce Express Line Launched
On the 18th, a China-Europe Railway Express loaded with cross-border e-commerce export goods departed from Guangzhou, marking the official operation of Guangzhou's first China-Europe Railway Express e-commerce express line. The goods transported by the train include Guangzhou's clothing, Foshan's small household appliances, Zhongshan's kitchenware, etc., and are expected to arrive in Italy in 13 days after leaving through the Horgos Port. In the past, cross-border e-commerce goods took more than 30 days by sea and were expensive by air, but through the China-Europe Railway Express e-commerce express line, they can reach Europe in 15 days, with transportation efficiency more than doubled compared to sea freight and logistics costs only one-fifth of air freight. After the express line is opened, it is expected that about 40 TEUs of cross-border e-commerce goods will be exported through it every week.

🔹 Sino-Korean Sea-Air Intermodal Transport Mode Deepens, Improving Cross-Border E-Commerce Logistics Efficiency
On June 18, more than 100,000 cross-border e-commerce parcels from Yantai Comprehensive Bonded Zone were sent to the world via "sea-air intermodal transport" through South Korea. Goods are shipped from Yantai to Incheon Port, and then airlifted from Incheon Airport to all over the world, using the cargo hub advantage of Incheon Airport to reduce logistics costs by about 20%. South Korean logistics enterprises cooperate with Chinese parties to optimize distribution, and Yantai Customs has launched "first inspection, then shipment" to improve transfer efficiency and accelerate the development of Sino-Korean cross-border e-commerce logistics.

🔹 Cargo Volume at West Coast Ports in the U.S. Continues to Decline, Exacerbating Idle Dock Workers
Affected by Trump 2.0 tariff policies and weak market demand, cargo volumes at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach have remained at historical lows for several consecutive weeks. As of June 16, about half of the dock workers at the Port of Los Angeles were idle, and the actual available work tasks could only meet 46% of the labor force size. The cargo delay time at the Port of Long Beach has increased to 6.9 days, and the delay time at the Port of Los Angeles is nearly 5 days, a new high since the pandemic. The chain reaction of the port surrounding business ecosystem is significant, with passenger flows in service industries dependent on cargo transportation decreasing by more than 30% year-on-year. Industry analysis points out that the U.S. West Coast ports are facing the most severe employment and operational crisis since the 2020 pandemic and need to respond to long-term challenges through paths such as warehouse optimization and automation technology upgrades.

🔹 Dhaka-Ezhou-Incheon Transfer Route Opened, Improving Cross-Border Logistics Efficiency
At the 2025 China-Japan-ROK Economic Symposium held in Wuhan on June 17, Ezhou Huahu Airport announced the opening of a route from Dhaka, Bangladesh, via Ezhou to Incheon, South Korea, mainly transporting clothing accessories and other goods. After goods are airlifted from Dhaka to Ezhou, they are transferred to Incheon through Huahu Airport's international cargo hub network and finally made into finished clothing and sold globally. Relying on the aviation resources of enterprises such as SF Express, the route shortens the logistics chain between Bangladesh and South Korea, reduces transportation costs by about 20%, and provides an efficient transfer solution for cross-border e-commerce and the clothing industry within the RCEP region. At present, Huahu Airport has covered 9 cities in 6 RCEP member countries and plans to further expand to Southeast Asia and European routes in the future.

🔹First China-Myanmar New Channel Road-Rail Intermodal Train Launched, Upgrading Southwest Logistics Network
On June 16, a China-Myanmar new channel (Myanmar-Baoshan Pupiao-Chengdu) road-rail intermodal train loaded with more than 1,000 tons of Myanmar iron ore departed from the Pupiao Logistics Center in Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, and is expected to arrive in Chengdu 2 days later. The channel realizes seamless connection between road and rail, integrating Myanmar's mineral resource exports with the industrial needs of China's southwest region. The one-way transportation time is shortened by about 30% and the cost is reduced by more than 20% compared to traditional sea transportation. This move marks a substantive breakthrough in the construction of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, providing an efficient logistics path for China's western inland areas to bypass the Strait of Malacca and directly access the Indian Ocean. In the future, it can be further expanded to Southeast Asia and European markets.
