On March 31, a TIR system truck loaded with smart electronic products from Shenzhen Huapengfei Co., Ltd. departed for Almaty, Kazakhstan, marking the first use of locally-owned TIR vehicles for cross-border freight in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This TIR system simplifies the customs clearance process, allowing for rapid clearance within two hours and reducing transportation time to six days, thereby enhancing connectivity between the Greater Bay Area and Central Asia. Huapengfei plans to deeply integrate TIR with cross-border e-commerce and high-end manufacturing to promote efficient "smart manufacturing" exports. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Transportation Bureau stated that the TIR model will improve the regional logistics network and enhance supply chain capabilities.
